Important Life Update

Hello guys, I haven't been active much and I'm sorry. I have a fairly good reason (I think).
No one here knows this story, a few people from dA will know. Four years ago I lost my best friend. My dog Button. She was my everything. Dogs are not just pets to me, they are family and Button was my little girl. I loved her more than anything. I bought her from a guy in Louisiana for 25$ she was the cutest pup ever. A beautiful border collie mix. When I moved from Louisiana to Illinois to live with my dad I couldn't take Button because they lived in an apartment at the time. So, my dad's best friend offered to watch her for me until I was able to have her. He lives in Michigan so I thought I'd get to see her often as it was only 2 hours away....I was very mistaken. A few months later I went to his house to see her, five mins before we drive up to their house the wife tells me that she gave Button to her boss because they have an autistic child. She said they didn't wanna keep Button on a chain and don't have a fenced in yard. So we go to this lady's house...Button is CHAINED up in the yard...as soon as she sees me she's excited and whining. I can't help but cry. I missed her so much. I ask if I can take her back because my boyfriend at the time said he'd be able to keep her at his house. They said no, I couldn't have my dog back. The autistic girl put Button in a cage because she was mad that the dog wanted to be by me and not her. I couldn't do anything...they wouldn't let me take my dog out of the cage.
So I called and emailed the guy hundreds of times. He ignored me. I asked my dad for help, he told me that if I got my dog back the wife my be fired for upsetting her boss's kid... The wife blocked me on Facebook I never even got to talk to her about it. Several times the guy told me I could visit button....I never got to. For four years I have been looking for them. I found the lady last year but I couldn't find the address. I found it this week. All month I have been searching for her. I finally found the house. I'm going there this month with my sister. Idk what I'm going to do...if Button sees me she will definitely remember me. I know she will. The lady has three kids and Button attempted to bite one of them several times. The girl was terrified of my dog. Obviously she didn't wanna be there. So this is the reason I haven't been active I've been researching this lady.
I can't believe after so long I'm gonna see my girl, and some of you may say it's been too long just give it up. No, I haven't given up for four years and I found her. I knew I would.

UGHH, i remember this story from long ago and drawing a picture of him!!
Can't you sue or something, or have proof with papers to the police or something?
this situation bugs me SO damn much TT
i hope you STEAL her back, seriously!! you freaking bought her, and they just gave her away for FREE....like they owe you still!
But I found the house. And I'm getting her back!! :)

Start up a petition. I would so sign it.
I hope so too. Your father should chew out the friend for doing that in the first place. That's just not right at all without contacting you first.
