Anyway this is long overdue and I'm sorry that it might be a bit short .. I am typing on my phone currently in a very dark basement. But anyway! Katsucon is this weekend and I am attending with my regular con group and well .. we all stay at one house and drive down the morning of the first day .. so. Eight con goers, one parent, and an older sister with her two friends are all in this house.

Luckily, all eight of us con goers happened to be at the store when this all started but .. we came back to smoking billowing out of the house.

Now for reference, all of our stuff is inside .. suitcases and such. So... the dryer (clothes dryer) had caught fire and an extinguisher was not putting it out sooo the fire department was called and they soaked the inside of this laundry room.. it went into the basement where most of us were staying the night too (finished basement) .. while they were doing their thing we were all stuck outside in the .. 12 F weather with the two dogs I'm crying it was .. eventful. We has to sweep water because it flooded the basement and the dryer is in the backyard all charred .. luckily there is minimal fire damage in the house.

It was so cold outside the water from the fire truck hose froze .. immediately.

ANYWAY besides all that fun (I'm still coughing and my eyes burn .. house still smells smokey) I will be away this weekend! I apologise to those who are waiting on stuff I tried to work before leaving but I was rather busy and had a zine deadline, but I will continue work after the con!!
