You're Beautiful

In the dim light, she rode him. It wasn't the pleasure but the way he looked at her. It wasn't the moment he said it, but his voice and how he said it. Her breath caught in her throat and she couldn't breathe. For a moment, when she looked in his eyes, she was trapped. She couldn't breathe, couldn't move. Time had stopped as the world came to pause around them. His words and hid voice filled the emptiness, what was left when time stopped. And to her he said, "You're beautiful." And she couldn't breathe. And she felt it. The pale, warm moonlight against her skin, the way he looked at her, the moment. She felt like a goddess. She felt beautiful and empowered and unstoppable in that frozen moment. And she smiled at him, all of her love evident on her face, and she knew. He was the one. She knew she'd never love another like this. And time started once again, and she was able to breathe; and she kissed him.
