Yes, I won't be able to start anything until next week, so I was just posting to let people know in case they needed to save up. I don't normally get advance warning from the ER people for when I'll have time to do freelance stuff, but lucked out this month I guess ;)

-I have a suit in works, but I want what ever patter is on the face of that to be the basis of future commissioned work because I want to have at least some sort of identity and not just a random pattern of stripes.

Yeah, it'll be nice to have a "final" reference to use, and really have it be "yours" rather than just be kind of random, as you say.

I've been waiting for a long time for my suit too, so I've been missing out on a ton of comissions. Though most folks tend to do first come, first serve, do I would miss em all anyways since I am asleep when those are going on.

Yeah :S That's why I've actually not done first come first served the last two times - I've had more offers than I can take, and usually a fairly specific schedule I need to work within, so I've had to pick and choose, anyway (although it's hard to feel like it's fair to everyone no matter how I do it :b).

I think if people are going to try to offer first come first served, it's best if they announce when exactly they'll be opening, so people can try to plan for it (like if they're working or normally asleep or whatever), because it simply doesn't work for everyone's schedules. I think that's what I'll do if I go back to first come first served again.

I keep missing these. Eh... I should probably save more anyway.

I haven't filled any slots yet, just was giving people a head's up! I'm not going to start actually taking people until Monday or so.

Um, I honestly don't know exactly how. I do need to take into consideration how many hours I have available, but I can't take everyone, so I'll probably take what "fits" my schedule best.

So, just to be clear - the choosing hasn't happened yet? This means i have a chance?? If so, I'm very interested. I have a couple of ideas I'd like to see made, and both fall along your preferred type from your ToS. Outdoorsy type stuff. But I'd like to get one if I can, it's just knowing when to be looking. Being a truck driver, my schedule changes often, but you say monday, yes? I'll try to be watching, then.

No, the choosing hasn't happened yet :) I've just let people know so they can start planning, and you can write me up what you'd like done and just send it in now - I'm not doing first come first served. I have limited hours available, so I'll be picking what fits best.
