So I woke up to a text from my mom saying that my grandfather passed away overnight. In a way, I'm a relieved now that he's not miserable in a home somewhere. I'd rather not dwell on it.

I know the feeling. My grandma has only a few months left to live from cancer and recently had a seizure.
