That moment when you realize something is off...

Who will save me from low doorposts? So I came into the hotel room this evening to find my bed sheets in an odd position. I look at my fiancee and say "These bed sheets have been replaced, haven't they?" She stammers and bit then says "Ehm, yes... I tried tossing them around a bit so you wouldn't notice, but how do you know?" "New creases in the sheets and the pillow looked too straight..." "Oh damn," she says with a sad face, after which I just burst out into laughter.
"Why?" You might ask.
Well, in the morning I had dumped my cuffs 'n stuff next to my bed. Normally we hang a sign saying "Do not disturb" on the door. Apparently, after a certain amount has passed, even if the sign is on the door, room cleaning WILL enter the room to clean the sheets. So I can see the cleaners coming into the room and wonder "Okay, which side belongs to who? The left one has a lot of lotions and girly stuff and the right one has a lot of... fetish... gear... uh oh."
The reason my fiancee tried to shuffle the bed is that she was afraid I'd be angry about it. Instead I've been laughing hysterically. To me, staff finding out eventually was inevitable. It was just a question of when. I'll be sure to leave them a nice tip.
