So it turns out that the cord wasn't what was wrong with my tablet. it must be the USB port on the tablet or something. Its definitely the tablet because i tried to connect it to another computer but it still didn't work. So from now on ( or until i get a new tablet ) all trades and commissions will be traditional. i hop you all understand.
