I hate this... (ebay problem, need opinion)

Today I've sold an item via Ebay, and the buyer asked to add him on Skype to discuss the details. I did this, and everything was fine until he said that he payed, when... I didn't even got the payment. While I was trying to figure out what had happened he started to hurry me up, like "hey where's my item" "hey did you send it?" "hey" "i'm getting fucking nervous" "hey silly".
I was patient and explained that I can't transfer the item to him until I get the money. ...I hope it was ok from my side?? Since I had bad experience with scammers on Ebay last year. The buyer started to harass me again, saying I'm silly and it's just the bank who slows the payment. Okay, that looks like a truth, but I looks at ebay status of my Item... And it was SOLD, but NOT PAYED. I told that to my buyer. He started to harass again, to hurry p, and to threaten me.
Then i said I can show the proof that I haven't got anything - I sent him my PP late history - last to payment I've made and received today. And there's nothing from him at all. He rejected everything. Then I decided to ask HIM to send me the proof of the transaction. And what do you think? He started to do anything - harassing again, and so on, but NEVER sending me the proof! He threaten he'll leave a negative feedback or smth like this. And refund the money. Hah, the money that were never send? Doesn't it seem funny, lol?
Just, can you tell me, was I wrong, or it was just a scammer? Or maybe there's somebody who faced this problem with Ebay before?

Had similar who said he didn't get item after was sent and pp refunded him so I lost the item and the money

You did everything right on your end - withholding an item until you receive the payment is standard - and their actions of harassing, threatening, and refusing to transfer proof of purchase solidifies the assumption that they're a scammer.
It's really unfortunate that this happens but you were right on your end!
