Lake Erie Tap Water Tasting Strange Lately? (those in Ohio)
General
I know I moved recently, but before that, for the last one or two years of my time near Lake Erie, the water has been rather strange-tasting, and I do not know if that is my imagination.
My family had started using water jugs and a water cooler for drinking water after the algal bloom scare a few years ago along with its warning not to drink tap water during the incedent.
I know lake Erie is not the best water source in the world, but I want to know if it is not just me. Has anyone else had any trouble with lake water?
I am talking about tap water, not directly drinking from the Lake, that would make most people sick I think.

Can't help you there. Most of our tap water comes from rain water gathered into a cistern. We are near Lake Erie but I don't know anything about the water quality.
