Looking into my health.

First and foremost a good person with real medical issues that could use some help with some sudden medical bills: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7366892/ Go help her instead of reading this.
So I finally bit the bullet at the beginning of the year and made an actual doctor's appointment for the first time in over a decade. I was seeing them for a couple of issues the two main ones were to check if I did any permanent damage to my legs and feet also I noticed I wasn't fully catching my breath suddenly.
The reason I am checking on my legs for two years I've been walking to work. My weekly commute would be 25 miles and you add on another 25 - 30 miles on top of that at work. As I put them I come close to walking two marathons a week. It takes its toll. The nice thing with my new job I'm only doing 10 miles a week to commute. They didn't find any evidence that I did anything permanent. They also didn't feel that I should worry about some of the pain I get in my knee while biking.
For the breathing issue, which had been getting better slowly as waiting for my appointment they gave me an inhaler and some allergy medication. The allergy medication did almost nothing but the inhaler make me wonder if I've had a breathing issue for a long time.
Today was my three week check up to see how things are working out and go over by blood tests. Your blood pressure is good for your activity level. Your good cholesterol is low and the bad cholesterol is ok for your activity level and blood pressure. Yep everything is ok, in perspective of my activity level. Not much talk about large changes to my diet... . I am 315 pounds I've probably gained 20 or so pounds in the last year and I should only weight 230ish (186 lbs, BMI can bite my ass) but I guess with my activity level it's alright.
On a side note, I need to get my bikes running this good weather is driving me nuts.
Another side note. I once met a nurse that was asked if should would be interested in testing a weight loss drug. When they did the screening for candidates she was rejected. Even though she was overweight enough, her job made her to physically active.
