My IT job started going south about a year and a half ago. It really hit the low a year ago. I boke down an risked applying to a company I heard off back in my retail days. They build industrial equipment. It was listed as a basic assemply job. After not hearing from them for two weeks after I put in my application I kind of gave up on the job. Six weeks later I got an email offering an interview. Going through their interview process I found that more then one person remembered me from when I helpped them at my retail job. The best part was when I was asked, "What possition did you apply for?". This was followed by "If we hire you, you would be working on the following project...." Yeah they decided to interview me for the next higher position then I applied for.

I'm omitting what equipement I build on perpose. I will say its making my inner mad scienist giddly.
