Greetings,
I hope everyone's hump day isn't too terrible. It's rainy and miserable here in NYC, but I'm super excited to give you this week's update!
SizeCon Poster Contest
We've gotten a ton of truly beautiful entries so far, and I'm so excited to print them out and debut them at our convention. That being said, we'd love to have a few more entries before Sunday's deadline (2/28), especially non-GTS artwork. And even if you're not submitting an entry, I encourage you to let your favorite artist know about our contest! More info here.
Calling All Volunteers!
This Saturday at 6PM we'll be having our first panelist/volunteer meeting. We'll be going over all the details: ironing out content, visuals, and roles for everyone, both for panelists and also for volunteers. We'll also use Skype for people who are out of town. If you have any interest at all in participating, please let me know at nycsizecon@gmail.com. And please don't hesitate to drop me a line even if you can't make this first meeting. Thanks!
Buying Stuff
As we get closer to the event, we've been buying all kinds of stuff, ranging from picture frames to ID badges/lanyards to tricasters. We're super stoked to be able to do all this, and we definitely couldn't do it without you! We'll be sure to send out periodic updates as our purchases arrive in the mail.
