Spoo and friends
Spoo lives in a woodland community filled with colorful characters. As I described it to someone before "Think Winnie the Pooh, but weirder". Clothing is entirely optional and many take full advantage of this. Nudity does not equal sexual anything.
Spoo is a happy furball of a Maine Coon. She often does first, then thinks. She's an accidental flirt and full of puns, she really can't help it. She loves food and she loves cooking and baking for others. Surprisingly, she does NOT have a lot of sex, although she is by no means shy of it. Everything in life is done for pleasure. Responsibility is not huge on her priority list.
Leikora is a shy and clueless thing. Spoo usually drags her along into weird adventures, although she has had a few of her own. She's a nature child.. loves flowers and butterflies. She's sweet and kind and prone to being taken advantage of.
Bebe is Leikora's mother. Total milf. She runs a catering business and tends to be pretty busy. She's a single mother, Leikora was the result of a fling.
Brux is Leikora's father, although Leikora does not know this. He's a huge fat bear. (Brux is not my character, he belongs to Sadon)
Sadon is Leikora's half-brother, again, she does not know this. He doesn't either.. or well, didn't, until dad dearest caught the two together and warned Sadon of their relationship. Sadon is a bearwolf. His mother does not live in the area. (Sadon is not my character)
Christa is a 12 year old fox that roams around the woods. She's very curious and precocious and quite enjoys making adults squirm with questions best kept for parents.
Cadhlane's realm
Cadhlane's father rules a small medieval fantasy type kingdom, think King Arthur/Merlin type setting. The castle is in the center of the lands. Mountains form a natural barrier to the North and Northeast, coast on the West. There are several small towns scattered about. The villagers live a simple life.. until marauders and other unpleasant folk started coming around. The king and his men do what they can, but they can't prevent everything.
Lord Murchadh is Cadhlane's brother. He oversees his father's navy. He and his crew try to combat the pirate and marauder problem, but it is difficult. Ofcourse, with Cadhlane missing, he had added incentive to fight these guys.
Lady Cadhlane started out young, inexperienced, still quite innocent but definitely growing up. Frolicking carelessly around her father's lands, she got too close to the mountains where bandits know every hideout and manage to stay out of her father's grasp.. where it is not uncommon for women to be snatched and harmed on the spot, or sold into slavery. Several years she travels around, constantly on the move, to keep her from being found.
Caseia is the daughter of the castle blacksmith. She helps her father out with errands and works in the inn as well. Cadhlane and Murchadh have known Caseia since they were children, and are all close friends. Murchadh has grown fond of Caseia, as the two worked close to get Cadhlane back. The inn is a wonderful place to get information from all sorts of patrons. Information used by Murchadh to further his quest. Caseia has much stronger feelings for Cadhlane however. Cadhlane is only now becoming aware of this.
Lady Mordhau lives in the lands beyond the Southern border of Cadhlane's father's kingdom. Their people don't interact much, aside from some trading. The Mordhau family all carry special trinkets around their necks that keep them in anthropomorphic form, walking on two legs. Whenever they do not wear their trinket, they are huge feral dragons.. It is hard for them to keep their tempers in check and their instincts are stronger than their intellect in that form. Lady Mordhau learns of Cadhlane's plight and contacts her uncle, who recalls the young unicorn in his place of business (a slave trade). Eventually it is Lady Mordhau who finds Cadhlane, and flies home with her.
Lady Mordhau has a bull servant.
Leshke is a young fox, who works as a teacher. She hails from the small village of Fairview, a town on the very edge of the kingdom. It is nestled in the foothills of a massive mountain range, a natural border for the kingdom.. a very desirable location, strategically speaking. Visitors are frequent, residents are few. The town is often caught in the skirmish between kingdoms, frequently changing hands between rulers.
In time of relative peace, help is slow to arrive, being so far from the citadel. The village has to fend for itself often, when dealing with riffraff. After the last run in with some unpleasant folk, Leshke lays down her books and picks up a sword.. ready to defend herself and her town. Not an easy task, as a petite and attractive young lady. Cunning and agility have to be her weapons, as brute strength wont win her any battles. Dressing in a mens hood, tunic and trousers, she quickly learns that life is a lot nicer without being gawked at and considered nothing more than a bedwarmer. However, being constantly mistaken for a teenage boy has its disadvantages too.
Modern day
Milena is a petite ermine that likes to dress up in a much younger fashion, acting like a young girl. She enjoys shocking those with sensitive sensibilities and taking a sledge hammer to taboos.
Kayaa is the daughter of a renowned prima ballerina. Her path was set for her.. however, she doesn't have the same poise her mother has. Not to mention, her physical assets are a bit too much for a leotard and tutu.. After being kicked out of the academy, she becomes an exotic dancer and high class escort.. With beauty and brains, a full education on etiquette and all the things a debutante would need, she's quite a popular lady to bring to business dinners.
Princess is an anthropomorphic tigress, with a feral mind. She's kept as a pet and enjoys taking care of 'problems' for her owner (She eats them. In a very gory fashion.) Pretty, but letal.
mrs.L is a divorced mother of a teenage son. She works as a high school biology teacher and after school she's the drama coach. Textbook milf. She prays upon her students and males around her neighborhood.
Parukari is a little punk rat with a neon rainbow mohawk. An explosion of piercings and colors, with just as outrageous an attitude. Hyper active and without a filter. Sometimes drawn as a bat, for the hell of it.
The folks from Spoo's realm and Modern Day pretty much exist side by side. Spoo puts on clothes and goes shopping in Modern Day and vice versa. Cadhlane's realm stands alone.

As for having too many characters, I don't think there's any such things. A large, diverse cast is what makes a world fun!
Organizing it like this makes it easier for myself and others to keep up with who is who ^^
