Need advice.Thinking over my sona's ref

I really like my sona Xain,but it hard to get art for him due to not enough art of him. XD
The ref I have was done by a really talented artist a little more then a year ago that help me bring him to life.I love it so much I have a poster of it in my room.
Here is where I need help there are other artists I really like including the one who did my current ref and I Iove their style,but I've seen some beautiful style ref made by others. Even though I want to get a new ref I feel like if I get a new artist to make one I'll feel like I'm cheething on the old one. What do you guys think any of you had this problem
