This is one of those choose your path adventure stories. I've progressed several pages into this and gives it a thumbs up. Definitely worth checking out.

You can gain + affinity points when making certain decisions. You do need +2 affinity with a character is to unlock later choices like finding/acquiring the game inside the gas station.
