I've been intentionally blocked by people for stupid reasons too many times to think it worth anything to make this easier. The old way wasn't hard at all and you couldn't accidentally ban someone without meaning it.

I've only ever blocked my crazy ex and her sockpuppets.

block button is a fuck, updates on this site are p much always shit, I've never even had to block anyone anyway, etc. >:U

is there any consequence to hitting it and undoing it? I ask only because when you block comments or something on FA there is a time limit to turn it back on

Nah, you can unblock them with seemingly no issues, at least no issues I've found.

Reminds me of the days when I was a moderator and the dang mod interface had all these one click commands on it. I absolutely hated having the power to accidentally delete someone's thoughts or cause blocks/bans because my mouse wigged out.

Also reminds me of those stream sites where 'REPORT' is as easy to use as 'POST' or 'FULL SIZE'. It's like demanding your attention NOT to use. If I designed an interface, I would not put power play functions like that on one click ease situations. It should be in some way like those overly powerful buttons on a dash board...of a jet fighter. There...but has that little plastic cover that you've got to flip up in order to press. Kind of a safety against accidental usage.
