Some mood music, first off.
I would love to know what the secret is to working an overnight shift and not waking up feeling like you've been repeatedly kicked in the head [or, you know, everywhere]. I have a headache I haven't been able to shake since I got up today and I feel like absolute garbage. Which wouldn't be so bad I guess if I was going to bed in another 3-4 hours.
Sadly, no... I've yet another overnight shift to work instead. Ugh! *drowns self in coffee*

The internet says you've got a brain tumor. X3
The one time I couldnt go straight tp bed, my family made me go out to eat with them right after my shift ended and i had pulled an 'all nighter' (which is just staying up for ovet 24 hours when you got a nocturnal schedule) the day before. I was feeling so ill that I had to cut eatting with my family short and go home and sleep a day and a half
Now i got a 1pm to 10pm job, and its basically a simular concept. Sleep early/late enough tp get 8 hours right before neededing to get ready to work, and stick to that schedule even on your off days. My day starts at 12pm and ends at 3am. If you need to run errands, try putting them off until your next off day, or try to work around your schedule. Its rough getting into the habit, but eventually your body just gets used to it.
Try drinking a pint before you sleep.
