Life, is always up and down
It can turn a smile, right to a frown
Just accept it, let it be.
I can't, because its killing me.
Its ripping, tearing me apart,
Breaking, and smashing my fragile heart.
Its burning, tearing me down.
I feel like Im about to drown
But no, I won't let it do so.
I will never, ever let go.
I will succeed, watch me get there.
Climbing my way up life's little stair.
When I break through this at the end,
I can't say that my heart will mend.
All I can say, is that Im trying my hardest.
And when Im done, I can say I went farthest.
If I take one lesson from all this, its going to be:
Ill do whatever it takes, just to stay true to me.
