Congratz dear :). Back when I was a kiddy I really liked Raichu (when there was only the original set of pokemon). I played red + gold, then never picked up any Gameboy games of it until I was like 29 years old XD just recently, HUGE jump in where pokemon went sense then. I've fallen in love with Zebstrika hands down, absolutely my favourite and likely will be forever :o

I'd say I'd have to go with one of the classics. Charizard is a stereotypical pick. Zaptos/articuno always served me well. But I really did enjoy Lugia, doubly so after the movie since that was my pretty much my favorite out of all of them.

(Toothless doesn't count as a pokemon...right?)
