Odd question to the Digimon fans

Out of all the Digimon fans who played the video games on anything, and you REALLY enjoyed that game for whatever reason, did you ever wish they would make a direct sequel either Story-wise or gameplay-wise? Because I was just talking to a buddy, and brought this up. He didn't have any in mind, but I brought up that I REALLY want a sequel - or hell, an HD re-release/remake - of Digimon Digital Card Battle from PS1. THAT was the best card game I've ever played in my life, in fact I played it so much, I can't even play the disc I own anymore. It's THAT bad.

Im a huge digimon fan, though im more of an original Digimon fan. I couldn't stand any of the remake series. The best game they made in my opinion was Digimon Rumble Arena 2 for the Ps2. There was another game i player but I can't remember the name atm lol.

Do you remember what console it was for? I might be able to help with remembering if you know that much. And as for the re-make series they didn't really remake it, but there is a new rumble game for PS3/XBOX 360 called Digimon All-Star Rumble. i've played it, and it's effectively smash but with Digimon instead. X3

It was for the ps2 and i think the main Digimon you played as was Gulimon. Whatever game it was, it sucked. I think they should have continued making Digimon like they did pokemon, with the same original characters.

That sounds like Digimon World 4, it was the last 'World' game released on consoles before they shifted to hand-held.

It had you play as Agumon, Veemon, Guilmon, or Dorumon and it was like an MMO but not quite. XP

It's actually a really hard game. I was SO CLOSE to beating it, only to get cock-blocked by the fact that somebody STOLE the memory card I had that was very close to beating it.

I too would enjoy Digi DCB as a re-release, but it was such an odd game that I doubt Bandai would consider it
