Ah. Hm.. I'm... Really not sure. I mean, I know there are downsides. I guess there's that sort of 'cringe' feeling that comes with associating with most fandoms? A sort of... 'I don't want to be stereotyped with those people' kind of thing? You know, since most people assume furries dress up in costumes and always want to bang animals.

In response to the things down below... I actually care for animals, and I hope many others do, too. I've learned not to be too offended by things and just sorta go with the flow. Art will be art, no matter what!

Additionally:
-Most furries don't seem all that concerned with actual animals, only smut involving imaginary ones.
-Furries are so terrified of offending someone's lifestyle/religion/whatever that they'll pigpile on anyone pointing out problems with it. Cultural relativism is the bane of social progress.

IKR Furries are so porn oriented. porn should be a bonus not a priority. My friend did always say were way too tolerant the furry fandom can become quite the tolerace circlejerk.

That pretty much sums it up. So many excellent pics out there ruined for me by that ridiculous concept that characters standing on 2 feet are able to keep their momentum on two toes! Ridiculous! A big pet peeve of mine, ESPECIALLY when the species is plantigrade IRL!! *coughbunniescough*

I get irked when people dont draw specific animals with the traits. But Aldi you draw bunnies with the wrong nose! dun dun duuuuuun!

people who dont even care about the fandom's subject matter and are only here for the roleplay/sex/chatting cause they got no where else to go.

Yeah. Participation is key in a community based fandom. I can always tell if there is a person who isnt into the fandom by not wanting to go to a con with no real excuse. I mean come on... a place where furries can be with other furries buy furry stuff, socialize and draw, come on homies!

For me it's the constant bitching some furries do to other furries about likes or interests.
