Total Solar Eclipse

While I do not live on the other side of the planet, I did see the livestream just now of the totality of the Moon eclipsing the Sun for four minutes in Indonesia. Countries like Australia got a partial solar eclipse.
The total footage was quite lovely and for those of you that did see it as well I'm sure enjoyed it, too. We are in an era where the moon is the perfect size in tandem with the distance from Earth (one light second) and to the Sun that it is able to do this. Not many planets in the universe have been calculated to have such a rare event occur with their natural satellites.
The Moon is moving away from us at about 1.5 inches per year... that is a pretty significant number.
It was 20,000km away from us when it was formed about 4.4 billion years ago -- and it is now about 400,000km away from us and tidally locked.
