Personally, I prefer shirts in dark blue or black, not white (they stain too easily). As for designs, well, you can never go wrong with demure cheesecake.

Depends on the design, not every design goes over well. I've done shirts for over 25 years and had winners and losers. A design you think will sell well, doesn't, and an average design sells like hotcakes. Do not print on white shirts, nor use 50/50 cotton poly shirts. Spend the extra bucks on 100% preshrunk double weave cotton and always go for silk screening, not heat transfer ala Cafepress crap.

i can get whatever shirts i want, the distributor is here in memphis. as far as the silkscreening, i was thinking about quality transfers and doing them on demand instead of paying for shirts that may not go anywhere. a client of mine heat presses some of his orders and swears by them. i might try a couple of things just to see. the idea was to build capital so i can eventually get my own screenprinting equipment.
