Vancoufur 2016 Recap

Hey! Finally some positive news here. Vancoufur 2016 was bloody awesome.
Every year just keeps getting better.
New Hotel
The new hotel was BIG, with lots of room to grow into. It's close to the airport,
close to a ton of food things, but a lot of people were complaining because now
things that were a 4 min walk were now an 8 min walk. Big deal! I'd rather have
all the choice of restaurants. On the more negative side, because it was so big
things felt very spread out. Hopefully as we grow this will fix itself.
Suiting
There was A TON more places to suit around this hotel and I will get around to
posting some pictures (eventually) instead of just lurking. I felt so much more
at home in the streets and parks near the hotel and everyone around was great
(even if some of the flight crews staying in our hotel were uncomfortable lol)
People
Too many names to name; but Vancoufur is definitely the best convention
because there's always SO MANY PEOPLE that I know lol. It was great to
see everyone from out of town again. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
Events/Panels
VF had the best dragon panel I have ever been to! And there was quite
a few other great panels too. WAG. The dance was AWESOME and probably
one of the best dances I've been to at a convention.
Suggestions
I thought that maybe VF should invite some local food trucks to our event!
Then less people will bitch about having to walk for food. Also the headless
lounge needs some rethinking - it was too cramped and needed more fans.
Anyways. That's about it. It was so much fun. See you all next year!

Agree about the headless lounge tho.
I'll miss the pool & hot tub from the old hotel - hope they do Howloween again there this year!
