Those who use a tablet or what not to do your art on. What kind of tablet you have? I been looking at the Surface, getting the pen and the keyboard for it. I want to kno if there are any others that function the same way. o: I want to compare 3rd-party tablets to the Surface 3. I am only lookin for a Windows Tablet, not an Android or iPad

It works well enough with programs like Manga Studio, and the multitouch features are a nice perk. Tablet's a bit bulky but it's not too bad for an hour or two of drawing. For under a half grand including the price of the keyboard, it's a pretty good deal.
Not sure how newer Surface tablets stack up but from what I know, third-gen and above don't use Wacom technology, so they might not be up to par with older versions in terms of how the pen handles or be compatible with some drawing programs. As well, the first and second-gen can use different pens other than the Surface pen including ones from the Samsung Note series, which have a better feel to them in my experience.
The Surface 3 does have pressure sensativity, and if you get the latest Surface Pen (Compatible with Surface 3/Pro 3/4/Pro 4), it works just like a Wacom with the tip as a writing side and the opposite side as an eraser. It can also change out the hardness of the tips (Standard is HB, but it has available in the included kit 2H, H, HB, and B, and that's going from thick to fine). It's also magnetic, so it can attach to the tablet easily. And there's palm rejection technology in the Surface 3.
The Surface 3 also has three kickstand positions, including one where it tilts where it's on a very slow incline, similar to a drafting table. You can also have it flat and use the tablet.
Also, ANY SOFTWARE you use on your desktop works for the Surface 3 (as long as it is ok on an Intel Atom processor and Intel Graphics). The recommended configuration that I would say for you, would be the 128GB storage, as it has 4GB of memory (the other is 64GB Storage and 2GB memory).
If you have something on disc, you'll want to get an external drive (The xbox360 HDDVD drive works), but if it works for the desktop, it'll work on here.
I recommend using Sophos Home for the Surface. On the Surface 3 is a full version of Windows (no Windows RT here), and it'll work as an anti-virus without impacting performance. Plus it's free and commercial-grade for private use.
