The musical world of 2016 has taken another hit with the loss of keyboardist, Keith Emerson, who unfortunately committed suicide at the age of 71.
Just the other day, The Beatles producer, George Martin passed away at the age of 90 (he also produced bands like America, Ultravox, Jeff Beck, Kenny Rogers, Cheap Trick…). Just not a good year for any aging members of the music industry.

Wh.... why? If you made it 71 whole years why not ride it out to the end? I can't even imagine living that long and not wanting to let my story play out however it was going to, even if I was still as miserable as I am now. The loss of life is always sad, but self-inflicted loss of life is terrible and tragic.

I couldn't agree more. I haven't heard any additional information yet, but I hope that whatever the reason, he has found the peace he was looking for.
