Not to be rude but I never understood hedgehog Maria, it's fan-made since Maria was always human in the games, you guys know I tend to stick as close to the source material in my art as possible :/

I believe it was so there would be logical and scientific reason on how she came back to life 50 years after being shot down by a G.U.N. soldier. Using Shadow's DNA to create a new body for her since her old one would be gone by then and so her new body would have an ultimate lifeform thing to it what with immunity to all manner of deadly diseases and such. Basically making her new body have what her old one was suppose to receive seeing how Shadow main reason for even existing was a basis for a cure to terminal illnesses and such, something Maria had I believe. Shadow's DNA probably made it completely hedgehog instead of human cause well how do you get human from a hedgehog outside of crossbreeding and genetic experiments?

That's a cute fiction, now have the original creators approve it and use it in their official games otherwise it'll still be fan fiction

Well it's on PS3, Xbox 360, it runs on Wii (it's on Gamecube though) and you can get it to work on Wii U, it's also available on PC via Steam which I think is your best choice here, you can also run it on your computer via Dolphin or nullDC, you got many options here!
