so I tried the early access of images and.....
I learned pledges can be done and canceled without paying so why bother with the early access.
It's better treating it as a tipjar then Soooooo my patreon will be that, the options thats on there will stay there.
The images will be uploaded here and on other places so yea, it was a experiment and I learned stuff.

Yeah what's the point? That sounds like a great way for people to pledge and then rip you off. If I needed a certain pledge amount to get to a goal, people could easily pledge the amount, I do the work, and then they withdraw their pledges and I did (whatever the goal is) for nothing AND I'm broke.
I'm not saying people will, but it sounds like a system that could be easily abused.
They refuse to fix it and blame it on the "provider of content" AKA the patreon creator.
That's just basic logic: pay for a good/service, get promised good service.
I can share your pain on the matter.
Sadly there's not much to be done here.
