Furred Snakes, Species Info
Warning: Not complete. If something is unclear, just ask and I will update accordingly ^^*
Other Warning:This is not a closed Species. Go on! Do stuff! And then show it to me, because I'm awfully courious XD
Species: Furred Snake
Furred Snakes can vary widly in their appearence, depending on the environment they grow up in. Starting as small, worm like creatures when they are born, they will develop and grow features and even apendages suiting their environment. So are Water Variants known to develop Fins, while many Wood/Marsh and Mountain Variants grow claw or Insect inspired appendages to help secure vertical movement. Though some adaptability remains (ex.: water variants being able to breathe on land after some time and vice veras) Furred Snakes won't develop new features once they reach adulthood.
Key Features to identify any Furred Snake are:
.) The fur, covering the first part of the body and the whole backside.
.) 2 Arm-like Tentacles ending in a 3 fingered 'hand'.
.) 2 secundary 'mouths', though it is unclear if they actually connect to stomachs or anything.
.) Being completly eyeless. Instead they grow nerve heavy tissue through and out of their antlers that pick up waves (either sound or electromagnetical or both or something else...have to do more research ^^*) to help orientation
.) Said Antlers, though their material may vary (ex.: Coral for Water Variant, Rock for Mountain Variant, etc.)
Social Structures vary greatly, though it is not uncommon to see them forming groups or bigger, caravanous tribes.
