The nighthower plant is a metaphor for crack-cocaine introduced by the Regan administration into urban communities in the 1980's...I don't think it's a stretch.
Anyhow, Zootopia was one of the most honest, thought provoking movies I've seen in awhile.

Haha I can see the likeness~ What about Bath Salts? Bath Salts being introduced as a recent drug with sides effects being anger and paranoia to name a few, and zootopia being based in a more modern time setting.
