Oh man are you guys ready to laugh? It's gunna be a good laugh I promise.
I got appeoved to get june 29th and the 30th off but got july 1st through the 4th rejected. At first I thought this was a mistake so I put it in a second time. It got rejected twice!
So I asked my manager why they got rejected even though I put them in 4 months in advanced. She told me that nobody gets the week of the 4th of july off... which is always the week of anthrocon. So basically I'll never be able to go as long as I work at Wal-Mart.
Haha funny right? I mean I made a huge deal to some of my friends about the hotel and now it doesn't even matter. I wasn't going to be allowed to go even though my manager said I was going to get it off.
Ahhh I'll never be able to meet my favorite artist who only goes to AC, I won't be able to meet my friends who only go to ac, I'll be missing out on drinking with my old friends I already made plans with. ..
Ugh I just want to break down and cry.

Why don't you find a job that tips. Hotel driver, server, bus boy, dish washer, and or other job here.
Walmart sucks.

as much as I'd love to quit it;'s the highest paying job around for now
while I wont be able to go to AC do ya got any plans on going to youmacon or MFF? :o
It's very hard for me to get off work that time of year, though. ><
I actually started going to cons this year with FurSquared. It was just a blast!!
I've never done an anime con and Detroit. XD
I might go next year though if I can find a group to go with
