How ferret came to be

And this is where the writing is! Vore is generally something I write about but it is not limited to just that, please see my commission info for details
Please note, there is blood and gore near the end of the story and it gets pretty graphic. Enjoy~
It was crisp, cool spring day. The flowers had just begun to bloom and trees just starting to become a brilliant shade of green. With the coming warmer weather, more and more people had decided to come out of their winter slumps, and venture out into the warming climate, which in turn, brought people to the small pet store that was located just on the other side of town. It was a small quaint little shop that had the basics covered. Cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, every little kids dream. But, there was one different little creature that was a rather new addition to the mix. Aside from the rather easy to care for pets, there was one that stood out. Long, lanky, and full of chuffs and chitters, it was a ferret! He wasnt everyone's first pick, but he happily rolled around his cage until the day came that someone finally pointed the finger at him and said "That one! Daddy can we please get that one?" A little girl squealed with delight and excitement, "A ferret is alot of work, Valencia. You're going to have to clean him AND his cage. Are you sure you dont just want a cute little kitty?" the father asked, trying to sway Valencia from the rather smelly weasel. "No, daddy. I want him. I already have a name picked out... Raphael, and he's coming home with us" she seemed to almost command as her father groaned but nonetheless nodded his head and called a sales-person over, "I guess this little guy is coming home with us, we are also going to need all the required supplies for ferrets, as well." The sales clerk nodded and quickly went to work gathering all the needed items for keeping a ferret. A cage, bedding, food, water bottle, all the supplies for keeping the little weasel happy. "That should do it, sir!" the sales clerk said, "Then I guess its time to take little Raphael home" the father grumbled, pulling out the required cash and collecting the item's "Come now, Valencia. Lets get out new friend home" he chuckled, loading the boxes into the car. Valencia was practically bouncing at this point as her new pet bounced around inside the small card board box "Oh thank you daddy! I promise to take good care of him!" she beamed as the car started and began to rumble off towards home.
A few months had passed and the cool spring weather had made way for summer. Raphael and Valencia were inseperable and went pretty much everywhere together. Who would have known a girls best friend was a ferret? She did what she promised her father, regularly cleaning the cage and making sure Raphael was clean smelling and rather fluffy. Things were going great for this pet store ferret as he had adjusted to his new life pretty well! Meals were never late and Valencia was never short on giving him all the attention and love he could ever ask for. He bounded around the room, bouncing and hopping everywhere to the amused bewilderment of the girl whom he made so happy. The summer carried on and the pair still went everywhere together, even on the family vacation and to multiple family outings. Sure, people stopped and stared at the snuffling ferret but it didnt deter Valencia from bringing her best friend along for adventures. "Valencia, my dear. Why dont you go give your friend a break from all this travel. I'm sure all this moving around has him all tuckered out" her father said with a grumble. He would have rather seen his daughter pick out a cat or a more normal pet instead of this ferret, the weasel was beginning to irk him. "But daddy! I-i guess you're right.. He does seem rather sleepy" she whined, placing the yawning Raphael back into his clean cage and locking it. "Now, come my dear, lets get you to your friends house" the father commanded, escorting Valencia from the room and closing the door. This is where things would start to get ugly for the rather innocent ferret... His little life was about to take a rather dark turn..
Summer had ended and Autumn was now in full swing. The once lush green leaves were now turning brilliant reds, oranges, and yellows as the year began to wind down. Raphael's time with his human companion slowly began to dimish as Valencia returned to school, leaving the ferret alone with the girls father for hours on end.... Which wasnt a good thing at all... "C'mere you stinky little rodent.... Let's have some real fun!" the father grumbled, quickly unlocking the cage and yanking Raphael out of a peaceful slumber before taking the still yawning ferret to the basement. The father was a doctor of sorts. He had achieved his degrees in Bio-Mechanics and made a decent amount of money with his current job as a Biological Engineer which consisted of alot of testing on living subjects... Raphael was going to be the mans side project... The ferret chuffed and squirmed as the man forcefully tied the weasel onto what seemed to be a small surgical table before putting a mask over the ferrets muzzle and knocking him out.. "Now, let's just see if we can make this work.." the father snickered, a crooked grin tracing itself over his scraggly face, facial hair unshaved and grey as he pulled out a pair of glasses from his coat pocket right above a name tag that read -Claude DelMorte- Once he was sure the ferret was out cold, he began his tests. Claude poked and prodded different areas of Raphael, injecting extremely dangerous chemicals into the poor weasel as durastic changes began to take place. Horrid things that ranged from extreme muscle growth to changes in fur color... With the muscles growing so rapidly, patches of fur began to tear open and split, thus requiring Claude to quickly patch these areas with neon green surgical dressings. The little squares were scattered around Raphael's body as stitches lined the small ferrets body, making the weasel look rather grotesque and unsightly. "Goodness me. Who would have known these chemicals would have this effect!" he cheered, knowing the full effects of his new experimental drugs that were designed for humans with severe injuries. Suddenly, he heard a door open... "Valencia? Home already? How was your day sweet heart?" he yelled, quickly covering the sleeping ferret and running out of the room, locking the door behind him and making his way upstairs to greet his daughter.
Claude didnt expect his daughter home so early -shit, she's going to notice her little friend is missing- he thought, trying to think of what to say as he heard a scream and Valencia starting to cry "Where is he?! He was here when I left!" Valencia shrieked in disbelief, quickly running down the stairs, tears flowing freely from her blue eyes "Da-daddy! He's gone! Did you see him get out?!" she cried, grabbing tightly onto her fathers hands "Sweet heart! I took him to the vet! He uh.. He needed his shots so I dropped him off there.." Claude muttered, hoping the young girl would believe him as her tears now soaked his shirt.. "S-so you took him to the vet?? Wh-when will he be back?" she whined, wiping the tears from her eyes and pressing her face into her fathers shirt, sniffling still "Wh-when will he be back?" Valencia asked, still breathing heavily from crying. "Later tonight my dear, trust me. He's going to be just fine.." Claude reassured her before heading to the kitchen and fixing his daughter a snack. The life of a single father was tough, but he made sure to provide the best for his daughter after her mother died in a rather nasty accident. He did'nt like to talk about it but made sure to give the best life he could to his daughter. Claude fixed Valencia a sandwich and sent her to the living room to do her homework. "I'll be in my office if you need anything, alright?" he said softly, patting Valencia on the head before returning to his rather gruesome work...
When Claude returned to his lab he almost fainted from the sight of what was in front of him "Wh--what in gods name..." he muttered, gazing at his creation that now lie on the floor, spasming and much different than before. The drugs he had pumped into Raphael had worked better than he thought as the ferret was now much bigger than he anticipated. "Th-this is amazing! The board will finally realize what I, Claude Delmorte! Am capable of!" he shouted in victory. He had taken a much smaller animal and turned it into a man sized beast. Raphael stood just shy of seven foot tall, shadowing his creator by atleast a good foot and a half as Claude hoisted the still shaking ferret up to his feet and gazed at his creation "Goodness.... Even better than I could have imagined" he chuckled, poking at some of the exposed muscle that had popped through from the extreme growth, nothing a few more suture's couldn't fix. He got to work patching up the torn sections of the ferret, stitching up the areas the fur had torn before stepping back and admiring his work "Now that... It one hell of a ferret!" he yelled, glancing up and down his creation. He grabbed another syringe from the table and poked the sharp needle into the ferrets skin before pushing the plunger down, emptying the contents into Raphael's body. "There, now you should have some kind of thought process.." Claude mumbled, waiting as the drugs took effect. "Now! Speak!" he commanded. Raphael's eyes shot open, glancing around the room, it definitely wasnt the cage he was used to and he was definitely not the same anymore.. He groaned in pain, shuddering at the cold sting of the air in the lab hit his exposed stitches and sending a sharp pain through his raveged frame "Mmmmph, ughhhh.." He sounded more like a zombie at this point as the experimental drugs made connections in his brain, slowly things started to click.. "What.... Who? Where am I?" Raphael stuttered in utter confusion, testing the movements of his larger limbs, flexing his fingers and toes "What did you do to me?!" he shrieked, stumbling around and knocking bottles of harsh chemicals over, sending glass crashing to the floor. "Settle down! Take it easy now!" Claude instructed, trying to calm the ferret down and stop Raphael from destroying his lab "I did this to you! A new lease on life! My experimental drugs have worked much better than I originally intended, be happy you dont have to live in a cage anymore!" He said, trying to reassure Raphael that his new life was going to be great, when in fact... The hell had just begun as once again, Claude knocked the ferret out and laid Raphael on a much larger table, restraining the monster on his stomach....
Claude had devised something rater sinister indeed. Being a Bio-engineer, he could create whatever he wanted in a rather short time frame. "Now, if I can create one creature, I can surely combine two of them, right?" he snickered and began to create a new creature that more or less resembled a fuzzy snake with a rather large mouth on the end of it. It took hours for the tail to form, and even then, it was the size of a rat's tail. Claude injected the new creation with the same chemical that made the ferret grow to exponential size and results were rather alarming. The newly formed appendage quickly grew in size and length, falling off of the table and onto the floor with a wet -splat- before Claude quickly put the pink and hairless tail back onto the metal table "Well, that was quick... Now, lets see about attaching this to you... Mr. Ferret..." he snickered with a yawn and glancing at the clock, the digital display reading a dull -4:30am- It was late and he had to get Valencia ready for school in a couple hours and decided sleep was the best option. But he had work to finish here and pushed the dull thought of sleep out of his mind and resumed his work. Claude donned his gloves and grabbed a scapel, slicing clean through the ferrets limp tail as flesh and bone were seperated with east from the sharp blade, leaving a small stump on Raphael's back side "There, now we have something to attach your new tail too..." Claude said, grabbing the newly formed pink tail from the table and pressing it to the bleeding stump of what used to be the ferret's tail, stitching the two things together rather tightly and wrapping the entire area in clean bandages and glanced at the clock again with a loud yawn, it was almost 5am. He hung up his lab coat for the night and made sure the ferret was under heady sedation, just to make sure the monster wouldnt wake up till the morning, giving plenty of time for the surgery to heal.
Claude awoke to the sound of his alarm clock screaming at him. He glanced at it with a groan and checking the time -8:15am- shown on the display. He mustered his strength and got out of bed, quickly dressing himself and heading into the kitchen and began the process of making breakfast for his daughter whom he could hear in the distance of the house. Valencia came walking down the hall, a rather solemn look upon her face as she entered the kitchen "Daddy.... Where is Raphael? I-is he still at the vet's? Is everything alright?" she asked her father who was making eggs and bacon. "Sweetie... I have some bad news..." he mumbled, trying to contain himself "Raphael isn't coming home.... He has.. Passed away.. I'm sorry." he groaned, watching the tears begin to well up in his daughter's eye's "No! H-he was fine when he left! Yo--your're lying!" Valencia cried, not wanting to accept the thought that her fuzzy friend had passed on, but deep down she knew that her father was probably telling the truth. She ran back into her room and slammed the door, flopping onto her bed and crying rather loudly at the loss of her best friend whom she had done everything with, now all that was left were picture's and fond memories of the past. Claude walked into her room and sat beside his daughter, placing a comforting hand on Valencia's shoulder "It's going to be alright, dear.. I know it's hard loosing a pet but, they don't live forever you know." he said, trying to calm the girl down, but at the same time, trying to keep the idea that the ferret really did perish at the vets, alive in the young girl's mind "Just remember, your little friend will always be alive in your heart and in your thoughts" Valencia lifted her head, her eye's red from crying "H-he was my best friend, daddy.... We went everywhere together." she mumbled between gasps and tugging a stuffed ferret plushie to her face and beginning to calm down slightly "I just can't believe he's gone...." she cried, sniffling and wiping the tears from her face as Claude continued to comfort her. "It's going to be tough, yes. But, you will always have memories of him, you know that.. Now come to the kitchen, breakfast is ready and class starts soon." he said, walking back to the food he was cooking and placing the meal on a plate and serving it to Valencia before the girl ran out the door for school. He could finally go back to his work...
Claude quickly went back to his lab and donned his labcoat and gasping from what he saw on the lab table "H-how did this happen?!" he yelled, gazing at the ferret that lie on the table, new tail flicking in random directions. Everything about the tail was normal except for the fact that it was much longer and wider than a regular ferret's tail and more concerning.... It had a mouth on the end of it which was drooling heavily onto the floor as the cold dead eyes stared blindly about the room "Th-this is.... Amazing! Ive attached two living things together! People will talk about this for decades!" Claude shouted with accomplishment before grabbing a syringe and jabbing it into Raphael and injecting a fluid meant to wake the sleeping beast from his drug induced slumber. Raphael's eyes shot open as he woke up rather quickly and began to scream in pain from his tail being removed and another being attached. As he opened his mouth in agony, so did his tail. The two beings were even more connected than Claude thought as he watched the ferret squirm and writhe on the table, clearly in pain. "So, it seems the nerves have connected perfectly! And motor function seems to be there as well!" he mumbled, continuing to take notes and gaze at the flicking tail that had begun to grow short fur as soon, the once fleshy pink tail was now covered in striped black, grey, and green fur that matched the ferrets perfectly. Claude took in the sight for a few moments, taking pictures on his phone for future reference. He removed the restraints from the monster he had created and quickly backed away, not knowing what Raphael would do now that he was free. The ferret shifted uneasily off of the table and falling onto the floor with a dull -thud- and a groan before picking himself up onto his rather large feet, grimacing in pain as the full weight of his new tail dropped to the floor, stretching the tight stitches "Y--you monster! W-what have you done to my tail?!" he screamed, baring his teeth in anger and glaring at Claude "The amount of pain you have put me in! I should put you onto that lab table and 'experiment' with YOUR inner workings!" he snarled, clacking his jagged claws on the cold metal table. Claude was frozen with fear as his creation threatened such things against him "Y-you cant do that! I made you and I can take you apart again!" he yelled, grabbing a .38 revolver from a drawer and taking aim at Raphael, ready to shoot at a moments notice "I dare you to take a step closer...." he dared the ferret.
Raphael didn't have anything to lose. He has been taken away from the girl that loved him and turned into a monster in a rather painful manner. He stood a good foot taller than Claude and had no intentions of backing down from the humans threats "Go ahead.... Shoot... Me..." he snarled, taking another step towards his creator, hate filled eyes glaring at Claude with disgust. Claude did'nt hesitate to pull the trigger, firing the hot lead into Raphael again and again until the hammer struck down and hit a spent case.... All six bullets hit and the ferret hit the floor, bleeding heavily from the open wounds "There.... Now you can formally die..." Claude snickered, placing the empty pistol back into the drawer "Now stay down....". Raphael screamed in pain as the bullets tore clean into him, leaving charred holes in his discolored fur. "Y-you bastard... Yopu cant kill me..." he snarled, dragging himself back onto his feet and baring his rather impressive array of razor sharp teeth "I'm already dead..." Claude had barely anytime to react before the ferret bared down on him and grabbing his labcoat "No! How can this be! You are supposed to be dead! I---I shot you!" he yells, clearly terrified of the monster that he's created that now means to shred him. Raphael throws the human across the lab, sending Claude crashing through various beakers and vials before slamming into a wall "In all terms of speaking... I am dead.." Raphael muttered before stomping over to the writhing human, dark blood spattering on the floor from the ferrets open wounds. He shut out the pain and focused on how he was going to make the bastard human suffer dearly for what he had done. "This is where you die.... Doctor." Raphael snickered, wrapping a large paw around the males throat and lifting Claude off of the ground before dragging a claw across the humans chest and ripping the lab coat clean off "And you will feel the same pain I felt..." Raphael snarls, biting deep into Claude's shoulder and ripping a bloody chunk from the human sending a spray of crimson across the wall and onto the floor as the ferret continued his assault against his creator as Claude screamed and kicked, trying to escape the blood thirsty ferret.... But it didnt work. The doctors attempts at escape only enraged Raphael more as he tore into the males chest. Ribs snapped with ease as Raphael went to work on ripping the human apart, tossing bloody chunks onto the floor and coating the area in a dark crimson as Claude was disemboweled in the lab and dropped to the floor in a bloody slump "Guess you are'nt so indestructable after all...." Raphael growled as he went to work eating and eviscerating Claude, ripping off bloody chunks and sending them straight down his gullet and into his gurgling stomach. He hadnt eating in quite some time since being dragged into the lab. He finished his gruesome work with the human and stood up, observing the horrid state he was in from the actions that had taken place, it was time to wash his hands of the horrible deed. He found the labs emergency shower and pulled the chain, sending cold water pouring onto his blood soaked fur and becoming somewhat clean again.... He needed to find Valencia...
Valencia came through the front door and discarded her jacket and backpack onto the couch before wandering into the kitchen in search of a snack. She looked around for her father who was usually around to greet her and prepare a snack as he had done for years, but was no where in sight "Daddy? Where are you? Im home!" she yelled out with no response aside from a dull clicking of claws on tile as Raphael made his way through the house, quiet as to not disturb the child. Valencia collected her food and made her way to her room to study and do homework, little did she know the surprise she had waiting for her there... Raphael had snuck into the girls room, waiting for Valencia to enter. He wasnt sure how the child would react and was positive the reaction would be good in any sense, but he sprawled on the floor as he heard little foot steps approaching the door until it swung open. There was a look of utter fear and shock on Valencia's face as she gazed at what lie on her floor. It -looked- like a ferret, but bigger and differently colored, plus the tail wasn't normal at all. She dropped the plate of food and stifled a scream as Raphael stood up and towered over the child, careful not to spook the girl too much "Don't be afraid, child.... "It's me! Raphael! Y-your father..... Lied.." he mumbled, trying to keep his calm demeanor, as hard as it was "H-he stole me from you and locked me downstairs.... He turned me into this..... Monster." he stuttered, kneeling down to eye level with Valencia, gazing into the childs eye's with a chitter he did frequently before Claude stole him away.. Valencia was on the verge of tears, part from utter fright and the other part was that of happiness that her best friend had returned "Y-your're so big now ferret.... W-what happened?" she questioned, running a hand through the ferrets soft grey fur and pausing at the rough stitches that lined Raphael's frame "D-did my daddy hurt you? It looks like he did...." she mumbled before warmly embracing her best friend again as tears of joy began to stream down her face with the sheer delight of being reunited with her ferret. "Thats not important, child... But you're going to need to go somewhere else now... Your father is'nt well and had to leave for some time.." he sighed, wrapping his long arms around Valencia.
Night fell and Valencia had contacted her grandparents about leaving and they were more than delighted to take her in and were on their way to collect the child. "You're going to be going with them, child... You cant stay her and neither can I... I'm going to be leaving again and finding somewhere else to live.. It's not safe for me here." he said, placing a paw on the childs shoulder as if to reassure Valencia that everything was going to be okay. "Y-you cant leave! I'm sure people will love you! Just a big cuddly ferret!" she giggled, trying to convince Raphael to stay and come with her.. It wasnt going to happen "We both know that wont work.. I need to leave, again. But I'll always be around, you know that." he chuffed, handing numerous photos back to Valencia as a car pulled into the driveway "Your grand parents are here.... Its time to go.." Raphael sighed, nudging the child towards the door "I'm going to miss you Mr. Ferret..... I hope to see you again some day...." she stifled a sniffle and collected her things and proceeded to make her way outside and into the car before driving away, leaving Raphael alone in the house. "Some day...." he whined, blinking away a tear and heading into Claude's bedroom and collecting some clothes. He collected a black hoodie, a pair of sweat pants and a black shirt before heading out into the night, cloaked by the darkness..... Never to return again.

End~
