Star Trek

I have always been a big fan of Star Trek and practically grew up on the movies and TNG, so this was big thing to me and I must say it was most enjoyable. Especially on the Imax, some movies benefit from it, some make you wish you waited for a cheaper showing *cough* Spiderman 3 *cough*.
It was very good movie and though had some flaws, it compensated for that. If I had to point out one thing wrong with the movie, I'd say it was the actor who plays the villain. It felt like a wrestler or ex-athlete was playing the role, though what can you say of the guy who played the Hulk in the first movie, before they decided it was so bad they had to remake it in less than a decade.
Now if you haven't seen it yet, you might feel the same about the new cast of the enterprise, but it works out quite well. It was nice knowing a bit more about McCoy, and how can you say anything bad when you got Simon Pegg splaying Scotty. Though I would say the character with the most uncertainty to him would be Chekov, he can be funny and quirky, but then theres times where they are pushing it too much.
Anyways, go see it, you won't regret it unless you are too stuck up on your self about the laws of physics and the time-space continuum.
