Eeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I didn't like it. Badly written interpretation of the characters (this was the worst offense for me), way too much superfluous stuff mashed in for no reason, and plugs for other movies that were awkward and just jumbled the already-threadbare plot. The actors I was fine with, cuz I think they did as well as they could with what they had to work with. The direction and cinematography was great cuz that is one thing admittedly Snyder is good at, but the writing and adaptation was poor.

Agreed almost entirely.
The mangling of the characters was basically the worst, with special 'honors' for 'Lex.' And I have to say that Jessie Eisenberg is a fine actor, but he was awful in this. He was clearly playing the Joker, not Lex Luthor, or even 'Alexander' Luthor.

Even the direction/cinematography.... Overall pretty good, but a few scenes here and there were questionable. Especially the jumbled mess of the big end fight.
