Commissions and coming to the end of the FinalGamer

So, with the final chapter coming next week, I have decided I will be opening up myself to commissions in future. But I am still uncertain about a price so I would like to ask anyone out there a question.
If I offered to write you a story with every 1000 words costing $1, would you consider that a good deal? Is that too steep or too cheap? I generally work by page length but I found my average hit-out of word length in a single narrative-heavy page is 900-1000 words.

So your prices are very low, perhaps best suited as an introductory price until you get into the swing of commissions.
