Since I get asked a lot of questions daily that I've already answered Im making a quick FAQ (its pretty long sorry)
If theres anything that isn't answered here please feel free to comment or note me and I'll happily answer your question or add it to the FAQ.
Are blanket dragons an open species?
No they are not. I keep them closed so then I have control over whats designed, also to ensure that the community is kept a safe place for everyone.
Can I make my own?
No you currently cant, I am planning on selling 'licenses' to people who do want to design their own.
Why cant I make my own?
Again I like to ensure that designs are kept within the rules and also make sure that no one is copying the other.
Can I commission you for a custom blanket dragon?
Yes you can! Customs start at $20 and go up depending on if you want any rare traits or a complex design.
Will you make me a ref sheet for my blanket dragon?
Yes I can. refs start at $35, for a two turn ref sheet with 2 other bits of information (excluding a colour palette and name since thats included with the ref sheet) The more you want on the ref sheet the more it'll cost.
Why are there different sub types of blanket dragons?
There are different sub types because I want to be able to push their designs as much as I can. I want every design I make to exciting and new. Its also exciting to see the community draw their blanket dragons in their unique environments.
Why dont blanket dragons open their eyes?
Blanket dragons eyes dont open since they're based bats and have have poor eyesight like some bats to. They mostly use echolocation to 'see'.
Are there 'bad' blanket dragons?
Yes there are bad/evil blanket dragons, that part of lore is currently being developed.
Am I allowed to make my blanket dragon into a suit/kigu/plush?
Of course you are. When you buy a blanket dragon you own it and are allowed to do anything you wish with it.
Am I allowed to make fanart for existing blanket dragons?
Yes, you can find out who owns which blanket dragon on the blanket dragon instagram page.
Can we be blocked from the community?
Unfortunately you can, we work on a three strike rule.
What can I get strikes for?
You can get strikes for things like, being abusive towards blanket dragon owners, purposely ignoring the rules of the community, impersonating a blanket dragon or their owner, harassment of the community. You will always be messaged a warning before strikes are given out, but if rude behaviour insures strikes will be given out.
How else can we get a blanket dragon if we dont want to buy one?
I do sometimes hold DTA's over on my instragram page (garbagebby). They are currently on hold since they can cause a lot of drama that I cant really deal with.
Can I use DA points to buy a blanket dragon?
I dont actually use DA so currently no you cant use DA points to buy a blanket dragon.If theres anything that isn't answered here please feel free to comment or note me and I'll happily answer your question or add it to the FAQ.
