How long will I be an out-of-state student?

Okay, I'm more than likely moving to Florida this summer, so I've been looking at colleges down there. But the thing is, I'd still technically be an out of state student because I wouldn't have lived in Florida for at least 12 months prior to classes (assuming I can be accepted right away, that is). My question is, since I'm actually moving to Florida for reasons other than college, would I only be an out of state student for the first year? Or would it be for all four years?

They sometimes have things in place where, if you move for another reason and can prove it, such as full-time employment before you enroll at the school, they will waive the out of state fees and just charge you in state. I would recommend talking to the Financial Aid people to find out.
