And like usual, amazing work on those paw-posts TC ! It's always a pleasure to check them every week :3
A great selection of favourites this time around! And arg, I know - that skunk girl who first gets her feet licked then gets to have feet patting her and pressing on her snout... Mmmf... so lucky.
Thanks for having a look as usual! Glad you're liking the new format (except for the visited link thing). :P
Great paw-post and I like the new design as a google document. It's still easy and comfortable to read and much easier for you to maintain. :)
I also like this times artist highlight with Oselotti. He seems to be a totally nice person. ^-^ I love his style and what he draws.
Safe journey to your conference. I hope it won't be too boring. :)
Oselotti is very nice, though this was an interview a LONG time in the making. Ose originally gave the thumbs up in the beginning of March, and was going to be the March 18th highlight, but we had a lot of communication problems in trying to meet up to do the live Q&A interview. We tried for a long while, but we could just never match the other's hours, so we fell back to doing it by e-mail instead. I really love his style; it's just so incredibly unique.
As for Vegas - the trip there will be a nightmare, I'm sure, as flying nowadays is one of the least enjoyable experiences in the first-world. I miss the way flying was in the 90s when they did it right.
Also I'd like to share these paws http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19535530/ X3
And oooo... nice foot - really gorgeous shape to it, and love the toe-ring. :3 Remind me to add that one in for next Friday's!
Thanks for all the efforts you're putting into thisss. I guess that should reward you with a free "sniffing journey" to the Snakepaw Mountains. ^^
Heh - and funny you mention the size like that - I thought the same thing as I was making it - not seeing "page" counts before, I never realized how long the things were!
My Favorites from this entry are Oselotti's feature and Hashire's.
Oselotti's work is always really fun to look at; the textures and colours are wonderful, and I'll never get over how much I enjoy the painterly look! :D
Hashire's is lovely too -- there's beauty in the simplicity of it, plus the colour scheme is really enjoyable. Some natural shading plus a pop of brighter tones makes for an eye-catching effect (especially those splashes of yellow, wow).
Beautiful work! :'D
Nice choices too - I really, really liked that Hashire one myself - it's much more finely detailed than her other pieces, and has one of the most beautifully rendered paws she's ever done.
I love the music feature; that is indeed funky! Hard not to tap the paws to...
That Most Pawesome, mmmf... yeah, that's a pretty easy choice there this week. XD I second that happy grin... and of course, the rest of Cari's are awesome as usual too. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/19527629/ was a particular favourite of mine given how often our dog stretches exactly like that!
Zen's rendering of Nick https://www.furaffinity.net/view/19505369/ is beautiful too... always a real treat when Zen weighs in on the fanart wagon. ^^ Especially with how much I loved Zootopia, and Zen's take on Nick is just gorgeous.
Obviously Teaselbone's picture of Nyrri is a top favourite here for me too! ^^ And I've already squee'd at great length about VK's take on your fursona, and you being assaulted by Sergei paws... <3
And as always, the feature is a lot of fun. :) I think Oselloti is another one that I'd encountered occasionally before, but it's the Paw Post that got me watching his work. As you say, he's got a tremendously unique style, and I like how he says he tends to draw based on inspiration and impulse rather than trying to pursue technical perfection. Very much in line with how I approach things, I think.
OMG though... Sergei paws... yeah, that picture was just... mmmf. :3
