where do you find inspiration?

So the reason I have been so inactive here is simply because I am completing my final semester in my master's program, I graduate in less than 4 weeks now! Almost every free moment that I have nowadays is dedicated to writing my capstone paper (now at 24 pages and going strong), finishing a cross stitch for my internship supervisor that is nowhere near finished, running errands to survive, completing chores so I don't live in squalor, and trying to sell as many of my belongings as possible before I move to Tennessee in May!
Lots of things.
But anyway, once April 30th passes I plan to be much more active here. So in light of that, TELL ME WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO DRAW! For me, it's usually music or beautiful scenery!

I don't draw really beyond doodles, and when I want to doodle it's because of an emotion I'm feeling. Lately though I've been wanting to design other characters so I've been doodling new ideas.

I do that a lot too. It's been a while since I've made any real vent art though. And making new OCs is so fun! I need to revisit my old OCs and revamp them for the modern, non-high school age.
