Your thoughts about my stories. I want them.

So it's been about a week since I submitted my first story, and quite the productive week it's been.
So far, I've been writing entirely in whatever style and tone I've felt like writing in, and I've put in more stories that tie in to the plot arc I'm developing than not.
So what do you think?
Where does the balance lie?
Should I push more towards lighter stories, or are you happy with where they are now?
Do you want to see more standalone stories, or should I keep moving forward with the underlying story at the same rate?
I want to know your opinion!
