I can't stand crowds and I'm ashamed of it.
I'm unable to go to furmeets because I'm afraid of crowds and my subconscious causes me to prevent myself from meeting new people by causing me to navigate to the wrong location. I guess I'm afraid of how strong a huge crowd is when a dangerous event occurs. If a crowd disagrees with a single person, that person could become seriously injured or die. I don't want to die. It's not my time yet.

Maybe just chit chat on the twitter with a few furs who go to meets, so that if you decide to go to one, you kinda know at least a couple of people? If you are a gamer, there might be some furs who play the same ones you do. Might be able to play online with them?
If it was a bowling meet you were aiming at, they are now at Leisure Lanes (almost in Whitby, I know and it's the Oshawa meet, but some suiters had problems with ignorant staff at North End Bowl).
Lots of ppl hate crowds. Nothing to be ashamed of, just something that you have to decide how to deal with.
