Goodbye, Everyone.

I've decided that after I finish commissions tonight that I will ne leaving FA. I no longer have the heart to be an artist and it shows. I can't continue like this any longer, so I'm leaving. I was so happy to have met all of you and drawn fir you while it lasted. I hope that some day I can come back with my passion burning again.
Thank you for everything.

you have a lot of talent and all you have to do is keep building on that! i'm not asking you to stay on any sites or post it, that's your own choice. but please don't stop something you love because you're comparing yourself to others or you're not happy with your work. there's always room for improvement in any stage of an artist's journey
i know what it's like being your own worst critic. it's horrible and whittles you down, but you can fight it! it takes a lot of effort, it can feel tenuous too. but just draw for YOURSELF. don't let it control you, YOU control it. YOU decide what you put on the paper, and you do it to suit your own preferences.
be it flipping your style entirely over, or drawing the same character because you love them. same expression, same pose. it doesn't matter.
you don't owe it to anyone for your ability to draw but yourself, so indulge it. you'll slowly want to branch out and that's how you fall back in love with art.
i stopped drawing for a year and a half and it was the worst mistake ever. it's frustrating, time consuming, belittling to see yourself compared to other artists. but i want you to stop and remember how far you've come, and how far you will go if you keep drawing.
everyone's art is important, maybe some people draw better than others, but we all do it because it's our escape, our release. it's a part of us. it has to be, if you have to take a break that's fine. but i don't want you to stop drawing because you feel the need to impress anyone with your art. art is about the feeling and soul that goes in to it - be it any form of art.
I also called a lot of traps girls automatically because of their femininity. It was nice to play around with that and accept they were just cute boys too sometimes. So I gotta thank you for that.
anyway, I totally get your dilemma. I'm a writer actually, but haven't written a chapter or story since LAST SEPTEMBER. I always want to create somehow though, mostly dictating commissions through artists nowadays. So if drawing isn't the avenue for you right now, I understand it completely.
I wish you the best and you always made me feel welcome, I don't care what you are off stream and IRL, but in my little world you were a kind, friendly, and cool person. See ya!
