This seems like an interesting idea for a cartoon.
A story about a dragon who is fed up with her life as a fire-breathing beast and wants to live among the humans of the land, so she moves into a castle and befriends a princess, who is the only person that can understand and communicate with her, and she ends up getting into constant trouble because she either acts on her dragonic instincts or she just doesn't understand how human society works. This could be one of the things.
*Dragon is munching away on castle guards, or as she's been taught as a dragon, "snacks*
Princess: Eh-hm!
Dragon: *mouth full of guards* Um...*gulps* not food?
Princess: YES, THEY AREN'T FOOD! NOW COUGH THEM BACK UP RIGHT NOW, MISSY!
Dragon: Um...cough them up? I've...I've never coughed humans back up before...I've always just swallowed them and let them digest...
Princess: Cough. Them. Up.
Dragon: A-Alright then, I'll try...
*dragon proceeds to start coughing and gagging, trying to regurgitate the swallowed guards*
Dragon: I just can't. It's not in a dragon's natural to regurgitate a meal, especially when it consists of humans.
Princess: *picks up sword* I am NOT afraid to slice you open with this.
Dragon: Wait, I'll try again!
*dragon attempts to regurgitate the guards, and succeeds*
Dragon: There. They may be a bit...traumatized though, having been in a near-death scenario and all...
Princess: Look, if you want something to eat so badly, try eating some cows or something...
Dragon: Cows? Right. About that...
Princess: GRRRR!!! DRAAAAAAAAGOOOOOON!!!!
