Yesturday was the absolute WORST library experience of my life..*shivers*
WARNING:If you get paranoid very easily and cannot handle bug stories, then do not read the rest of the journal. Parental Guidence suggested.
If you are still reading this...I warned you...
Yesturday I walked to the library. About a 20 minute walk, no problem. I was looking for two books, BoneChiller and The Hollow: Horseman. When I got there I went in and asked if they had the books. They looked them up on their computer and told me they didn't. It was around 7 pm. And I didn't feel like walking the rest of the way back, so I called my mom to pick me up. I waited on a bench, for a good 5 minutes. Then I feel a bug on my arm. I slightly freaked out and swipped it away. I walked down to the front and then sat on the sidewalk and waited the rest of the time. When my mom does come (five minutes later). I get in the car and a just a few minutes pass and I feel something on my chin. I check it out and it was a tick. My mom stops the car and I immediately jump out and I jump around to get whatever else was on me. My mom found 2 more ticks on my shirt on each of my shoulders, I found two on my one pant leg. Then we keep finding more, never ending ticks. They were all on my shirt and pants. When we get home I immediately get my clothes off and put different ones back on. Then I find more ticks on myeself; one on my rib, and another on my thigh. My mom goes through the clothes and we end up burning 8 ticks. We don't know how much were actually there (I'm thinking 10-20 altogether). I call the library and warn them about the bench I was on. And we end up putting my 2 pairs of clothes in a bag and outside (the second pair of clothes was because I didn't feel clean so I scrubbed myself clean and got a third pair of clothes.)
Now it's the second day and I'm over the borderline paranoid. I hate bugs but, that's a huge amount at once. (even spiders don't seem that bad now).
I didn't walk through tall grass, they couldn't have just fallen off a tree because they would have easily gotten to my head (none of them bit into me, thank goodness). I don't know what happend but it did, and now I can't do anything without looking around.

FA+

I usually only get them once, maybe twice, a year. I think this made up for all of the other years.
I'm sorry :/!!!
I've never had a tick...my dad has had a bunch, as so did my brother...
I'm lucky I guess
