One Last Song for Dad

Tomorrow at dad's funeral, I plan on singing my poem/song. It's going to be very hard because 1. I can't really sing, 2. I have stage fright and I don't like talking, much less trying to sing, in front of large groups of people, 3. I'm not only going to be emotional, but being slightly empathetic, I'm going to be feeling everyone else's sorrow and pain. But, it's going to be one last thing I can do for my dad before saying "good-bye" for the final time. I just ask that God will give me the strength and courage to do this. Please pray for me to get through the singing...and the day.

You are much braver than me my friend. All i could do at my dads funeral was make the music to be played at the service. I will be praying for you. *hugs*

What they said ^^ I hope you will be able to deliver the piece well. Remember he will always be with you. I couldn't face speaking at my mum's funeral, too emotional to trust myself. *hugs*

Well, the funeral is over with and I was able to sign my song...just barely before my grief became too much and I had to sit down, then broke down crying.
