Tablet is dying

I had a moment of terror today when I was working on a commission and my tablet cut out on me. Luckily restarting my computer was enough to bring it back, but it brings to my attention that it's getting quite old and is on its last legs. Four years old and still going, stubborn little machine..
I don't know what I'm going to do when it finally dies on me. I can't afford another one right now, and I don't know how long it would take me to save up for it.
I guess this was kind of a warning for if things suddenly go wrong. I'm crossing my fingers though.
