Hello, my lovely people, I am in pain!
On the 13th, I was admitted to the ER with stomach pain that turned out to be appendicitis, and I ended up having the bugger of an appendix removed that day. It was not a fun experience! Because of covid, I wasn't even allowed a visitor, and I had to go through my first surgery alone.
I'm pleased to say that the surgery went well though! I no longer have an appendix, and I no longer have as much stomach pain. Apparently the thing was almost double the size it's supposed to be, oof. I'm quite sore, it's hard to stand up, it's hard to sit up, and I get tired out so quick. I'm getting better every day though!
But for now, I'm not allowed to lift anything over 30 pounds for about six weeks, or risk an injury. Which means I'm not allowed to work. I talked to the surgeon about it and he'll try to get me back to work in two, but that's still an amount of time I can't afford right now after the shitshow that was last year :c I can't even sit up long enough at the moment to do some light commissions! Even sacrificing my savings for larger reptile enclosures(I'm sorry, babies!), I don't know if I'll be able to keep up rent and groceries. That's not saying anything about the massive medical bills that are sure to be coming, since it's a new year and insurance resets. This year has already decided to screw me over with food poisoning on the first day of it, and now this. No winning, y'all!
I understand a lot of you are in similar situations, but if anyone can lend a hand(or paw, or talon), I did set up a gofundme to hopefully take a bit of the edge off. If there's anything you can do, whether a donation or a share, it would be greatly appreciated <3

Or if you don't like gofundme(I don't much trust it either), I do take paypal too ;A;

If you donate enough and attach your username to it, I'll be sure to try and do something for you when I'm able!
And I have a bunch of designs for sale here, if you'd rather get something for your money: https://toyhou.se/TheElderTrinity/c.....:697080?page=1

Looking at the good news though, a surgery this early in the year means the deductible is going to be met sooner rather than later. Cheap prescriptions are hella. And with luck, I can keep the actual bill down to a minimum
