Come check out my instagram! It's got stuff! Plus question
9 years ago
I recently got into instagram and kinda have fun playing around in it.
Don't worry, no selfies, but I do post WIP of stuff I'm currently working on and I do take fun little photo of stuff, whatever I find interesting or feel like at the moment
My instagram is: Poesraven1990
You'll see: Zaneta Marie Plavi right under it if my Icon isn't obvious enough XD
I thought this would be kind of a fun thing to do as I kind of have been really busy and haven't posted stuff on here even though I have actually been doing a lot. Especially for when summer comes around. I'm going out east and I have no scanner or very little internet access out there so my posting will be minimal (I will try to post a lot before hand though)
So swing on by if you'd like, as an extra incentive, I will post pictures of things I may or may not ever post on here.
They're nothing bad, just me playing around with some artists' styles that I like. I always give credit of course but I don't want to have to deal with potential drama. Unless people don't care as long as I'm not saying "oh yes... this is mine..." >3>
Here is the question I guess: Would it be ok to post those types of things as long as I state that it's not my style, just one I'm experimenting with or would it actually cause problems?
Anyway, I think that's all for today, have two more classes to go and then summer! Woohoo!

As for your question, I think it would be okay. If you're clearing saying you're just messing around, it would be pretty stupid of someone to take offense to it.

Yeah but you never know with some people and that's what I'm worried about. Then again maybe I'm taking them for granted as most of the time it's clearly someone who is trying to claim a style as their own

I think that's fine of you mimic a style so long as you're not claiming it as your own and you don't like... decide it's your style from now on. There are plenty of artists who have similar styles, anyways, and no one nails others to the cross just because they only ever draw in like... TLK style. Go for it!

That's a good point, thank you ^^ It's just not something I've seen many do casually you know? Most of the time it is actually people trying to steal a style and I worry that someone would jump to conclusions
