Art - Areas I Could Improve?
I am asking for honest critique of my art.
I'm certain there are things I can improve upon.
Sure I could think up things myself but I'd like to hear opinions from outside eyes.
Can understand if this is difficult to opinionate on.
I don't draw super frequently anymore so there isn't as much bulk to compare.
Would really appreciate and enjoy some feedback though.
Will delete this after a day or so if no response.

I didn't say anything cause again I love the pic, but as a helpful hint on artwork, I guess I'm saying careful when coloring. if that helps. =P
I always try to match as closely to a reference that I'm given.
If its not clear then there is only so much I can do.
I'd be happy to change the art I did for you so its tan though!
That'd take literally 30 seconds, haha.
:)
-Movement. A lot of the poses in your gallery are pretty standard; you could push them so much more ! Gesture drawing practice can be very helpful when it comes to dynamic poses, so if you're ever bored, sitting down with a website like http://www.posemaniacs.com/ and doing some timed gestures exercises is never a bad idea. Personally, whenever I sketch a pose, I push it as hard as I can, before bringing it back into more realistic proportions with the line art. Of course, the harder you push the poses, the more cartoony it gets (which Im not sure if thats the style you're going for) but even realistic poses can be pushed pretty hard to make them more dynamic. A big tip for crating dynamic poses is line of action, so if you're stumped on how to start, literally just drawing a straight line and build from it can help a ton
-Backgrounds. I notice a lot of your work contains gradients, which is fine when you want the focus to be more on character, but it's never a wrong time to try out different kinds of backgrounds! Just look up cities, landscapes, etc. on Google and pick one to base yours off of. A trick I sometimes find helpful is uploading a stock image underneath your pic, lightly tracing the general shapes for a setup, and then going in with your own details and making changes to make it original !
-Use of different characters. Most of the art in your gallery seems to be of Uru (which there's nothing wrong with; I love my fursona too ;w; ), but maybe try to expand your character portfolio a bit. Be they original characters, or making some on-the-spot ones for practice. Some of the more lesser drawn species are always great practice too, though things like reptiles and bird could work just as well (since I notice you don't have many of those) Humans, of course, are also a big yes when it comes to trying different species. I personally have a handful of human OCs I don't post here, but doodle all the time, just for practice in that area
-Expressions. Going back to the point on dynamics, expressions are very hard to push to the point of unbelievability. You can literally do almost anything with expressions, so go crazy with them ! Push the angry eyes, widen the smiles, open the mouths super wide, add extra tears to the sad faces, the list goes on. It looks like most of your faces try to stay within the realm of the head, which is fine at first, but now that you know the rules, you can start breaking them :,D
Hope all this helps ;w; !

- Different characters: I agree with that, I could use to draw my other characters.
I think it was a few years back that I wasn't drawing my sona much and people actually requested to see her more. Might be hung up on that still.
And yooo I really do need to practice humans more. I only draw em like once a year >.>
- Backgrounds: YES. Thats actually what I'm trying to work on currently. My lack of backgrounds is what bothers me the most at present.
- Movement: Yeah, my poses could use to be more interesting/varied. Prolly wouldn't have noticed that without it being pointed out. Good note.
Thank you so much for your critique!
Lots of stuff to consider for future.
