i would do a search for windows movie maker, used to be included with windows. Should still work with win 10, its free and does a half decent job.

I think I looked at that briefly and thought I saw nothing for windows 10, but that was a couple months back. Will have to try again. Thank you for suggestion!

You won't find it listed for win 10, but if you find it and install it should still work even on win 10.

Depending on if you have photoshop and what version, it can edit video. I only know imovie, final cut, and premier. Final cut and I think premier you can get free trials of. imovie is free on mac, unless there's a windows version out there

Yeah iMovie is what I'm familiar with as well since my home desktop is a mac, but my away at school computer is a PC. So unfamiliar territory for me.
And the version of photoshop I have unfortunately does not have any video editing functions. Its elements and is honestly a miracle I can draw with it.
Thank you for the other two suggestions though. If I end up needing a more advanced editor in future this will be good to know about.

I'm a cheapskate and I use Blender (yes, the 3D modelling program) to edit video. (https://www.blender.org/)

For video editing It's strange, a bit complex, only has basic audio mixing, but it's better than free - it's Free (libre) / Open Source. It's really good at color adjustments. Just be careful since it defaults to render at 50% resolution. ;)

For proprietary freeware, I've also heard about, never used, Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve (https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/pr.....davinciresolve), but it's a professional product with emphasis on color adjustments... might be a bit overkill. Plus, downloading the free version requires your personal info.

I'd also check the Windows Store.

I agree with Kakurady, Blender will probably be your best choice. It's the only completely free software I've found that has the best reviews.

And of course, if you need something crazy with video editing, you can always give me a shout and I can do whatever you need :) I can always use the practice.
